After Android, iOS, React Native, Unity, Godot, and Flutter, our SDK is moving into a new neighborhood: Unreal Engine. Fewer houses, but huge ones: nearly 6 billion mobile installs and around 3x the downloads per game.

Why Unreal

Unreal powers some of the most intense games on mobile. Think high-end shooters, battle royales, and RPGs that attract truly dedicated players, the ones who play every day, compete for hours, and invest in the games they love.

Players like that don’t come cheap, and they’re worth every cent of the user acquisition budget spent on finding them. But to spend that budget wisely, you need to know which campaigns actually bring them in and keep them playing. That’s exactly what attribution tells you, and exactly why Unreal was next on our list.

What’s in the API

Here’s what justtrack brings to your Unreal game, in both C++ and Blueprint:

– Attribution: Find out exactly which campaign, partner, and channel brought each player in, so your budget goes where it works.

– Event tracking: Measure the moments that matter, from finishing the tutorial to beating a boss. Ready-made events for ads, logins, progression, purchases, and in-game resources cover the classics, and custom events cover everything else.

– Ad revenue: See what every ad impression earns, so you know the full value of each player, not just what they spend in your shop.

– User identity: Link justtrack data to your own player accounts and follow the same player across the entire journey.

– Remote config: Run experiments and tweak your game on the fly, without waiting for a new build to clear app review.

– Privacy controls: Ask for consent, pause tracking, or anonymize player data whenever you need to, and show Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt on iOS.

Adding our plugin

Download the zip file here, drop it into your project, and you’re good to go. The Android and iOS dependencies come bundled, so there’s no fiddling with Gradle, CocoaPods, or Xcode. Follow our step-by-step integration guide at https://docs.justtrack.io/sdk/overview/.

Configure it

No code required. Open Project Settings → Plugins → justtrack SDK, switch off Configure at Runtime, and set everything up right inside the Unreal Editor:

– API tokens: Add separate tokens for Android and iOS, and the right one is used for each build automatically.

– Start on launch: Have justtrack initialize as soon as your game starts, or switch this off and start it yourself from C++ or Blueprint when the time is right.

– Consent-first tracking: Enable manual start, and tracking waits until you give the go-ahead from C++ or Blueprint, for example once your player says yes.

– Native logging: Switch on SDK logs while you test, then switch them off before you ship.

– Advanced options: Override the server URL, your app’s package name or bundle ID, and its version when your setup needs it.

Prefer to keep things in code? Leave Configure at Runtime on and set up the SDK from C++ or Blueprint instead.

Track an event

Once the settings are in, tracking the moments that matter takes a single call:

The same flow in Blueprint

Every feature available in C++ is also available in Blueprint, so designers and engineers can work side by side with the same tools. Just search for “justtrack” in any graph and start connecting nodes, no coding required. The nodes stay neat and compact, with the less common options tucked away until you need them.

Consent and privacy

Your players’ trust is part of your game, so justtrack puts you in full control of when and how they’re tracked.

Need consent first? Hold tracking back until your player agrees, then switch it on with a single call. Changed their mind later? Pause tracking at any time, and nothing is recorded while it’s paused. Want to keep measuring while protecting personal details? Anonymized mode keeps your insights flowing and hashes sensitive user data along the way.

On iOS, justtrack also handles Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt for you and tells you what the player chose. The same code runs on Android too, so there’s no platform-specific branching to maintain.
